Tommy Laurence is an arranger and orchestrator, who has contributed arrangements for record projects and concert appearances, by artists like Chaka Khan, George Benson, Al Jarreau, and many more.
He has worked as both a lead and additional orchestrator on nearly 70 motion pictures.
Tommy lives in Carmel, CA, with his wife, Deirdre, and their son, Tadgh.
Recent Projects
Recent projects include supervising orchestration on Dominic Lewis’s scores for ‘Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway’, ‘My Spy’ and Dominic’s half of the score for ‘The King’s Man’. Tommy has provided several arrangements for ‘Quincy Jones and Friends’ concerts in 2019/20, in London, Paris and Seattle, conducted by Jules Buckley, featuring Sheléa Frazier. He has also recently contributed some arrangements for Cory Wong’s latest album, featuring Cody Fry and the Metropole Orkest, conducted by Vince Mendoza. Recent additional film orchestrating projects include ‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’ and ‘Dora and the Lost City of Gold’.
